My Benefit Products

Just received my products from benefit and they are amazing! The packaging is absolutely stunning... and so is the product inside.
So lets start with the Sugarbomb blusher... It has four different shades in one to blush up your cheeks. With a very compact packaging you can easily put in your bag and carry it along with you in case of a touch up!
Finding Mr. Bright is the bright pink box of goodies...it has 4 different products which are  Girl meets pearl, Posie tint, high beam and erase paste.Girl meets pearl and high beam are highlighters for the face, to put on cheek bones and brow bones..don't over do because your face will be shiny bulb! Then there is the erase paste which is a sticky concealer to put on dark spots or dark circles around eye area. The Posie tint is a little lipstain in baby pink...I actually thought it was nail polish at first because of the tube..wups!
As for the eyes I bought the creaseless cream shadow/ liner in skinny jeans which is silvery color and the velvet eyeshadow in tickled mink. I kind of preferred the creaseless cream because its a creamy texture and it has more pigment thus leaves a better effect and color on the eye.
And last but not least Mascara...They're REAL! Definitely best buy and best mascara. 94% saw dramatic length & volume 90% saw base- to- tip curl 94% saw visible lift 100% saw long wearing results... AGREE... It has this spiky stick that doesn't overdo the mascara on eyelashes and make them all blotchy. It keeps the eyelashes looking natural with one coat and with two WOW! are They REAL?

Jil Sander

Makeup was done by Peter Philips who did a Standout Red lip using Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick in Enthusiast. For a long last he layered powder on top of lipstick; the oldest trick in the books. Metallic green- blue eyeliner on the eyes he used Chanel Stylo Yeux Eye Pencil in Jade.

Block Coloring

Who said you can only wear colors in summer?

Jil Sander’s collection for A/ W 2011 were full of bright color and volume. From the voluminous coats to the balloon dresses they all contained color.
~~ This is the art of modernism~~

Seventies ChloƩ Look

Charlotte Tibury used coffee, taupe and caramel pigments for this “classic and feminine, healthy seventies look” as she calls it.

Using Mac Cosmetics she created this natural satin finish. As a foundation she used Studio Sculpt Foundation and a Transparent Finishing Powder. For the eyes she used Mac Pro Cream Color Base in Air Force Blue and its Paint Stick in Black. Lips are a coral- nude color; she used the Mac Freckletone lipstick.

I really like using coral on myself, not only on the lips but on the eye area or as a blush. For eye shadows you can use Benefit's Creaseless Eye Shadow

And for a Coral-ish Blush you can use Laura Mercier’s Canyon Fall Look Blush

As for the lips you can use benefit silky finish in make nice

Wondering what this blog is about? I guess the first thing that comes to mind is make up since those words are in the name, but it is about more than that. Whatever interests me I will be sharing here with you because we all have the same passions…you did find my blog somehow!
As you may know the things that interest me the most are Makeup and Fashion so let’s just say that is what the blog will be about.
Now I would like to share some A/W 2011 Trends with you…

~~The MAKE UP LOOK~~

METALIC: As seen in the Chanel Runway show makeup artist Peter Philips combined a smokey eye effect with silver around the eyelid, shiny white in the inner corner and black on the outer corner.

Love the definition of the eyebrows
